NERO OF COURSE!!!!!!
If you don't get it I'll briefly explain it here: The Nero I drew here is a character from Devil May Cry 4. But the reason why I drew this picture was because there was also a Roman emperor who was named Nero. Nero was a twisted man. He brutally persecuted Christians, killed whomever he though was going to assassinate him, even if there was no supporting evidence. If someone looked at him funny he would kill him. (Mind you, he was an emperor after Julius Caesar. As you all know (or should know), Julius Caesar was assassinated on the Ides of March by fellow senators. After that, emperor after emperor ruled in a short span of time because they were all being assassinated not long after they came to power. This inconsistency of rulers defiantly lead to the split and fall of the Roman empire.) Nero even burned his own city of Rome. It is said that he fiddled as Rome burned to the ground. (Note the flute that Nero is holding.) After his fall from power, for one reason or another (I'm not sure), he became an actor and then committed suicide. Now you all learned something new~ ^.^ It's just something stupid. It's not supposed to be funny =.= (I didn't draw the background. I just did a Google search for Rome burning) |
